A generous offer has again been extended to East Palmyra Christian School with a challenge to match $20,000 in donations!
On another bright note, EPCS was able to open 5 days a week and stay open through the end of December. In the end, only one classroom was affected by Covid 19 for a minimal amount of time. We were the last school in the surrounding counties to report a case, despite being open for school in all grades, all day, five days a week. Thankful to God, we stopped it by being vigilant.
Our faculty and volunteers went to extraordinary measures to support healthy in-school education and the spiritual wellbeing of our staff and students. Our Father in Heaven has been most gracious to us. Let us praise Him for his hand of protection! We were even able to hold our annual Fall Harvest Festival which was well attended, proved to be safe for all, and was a financial benefit for the school.
While we are continuing the mission of the school, the natural, added expenses of educating through a pandemic accumulate. Please consider donating at this time, matching this generous gift, it will be another joy to celebrate! One of our many prayers is that events like; musical concerts, special dinners, sports, art, and academic talents can once again be viewed in person. We love to share what God is doing in these children’s lives.
Since 1947, our school has survived some turbulent times in our country; economically, politically, and spiritually. As it was before, during the past year and in the future, we will put our trust in God and lean on His provision and understanding.
This year’s school theme was chosen as an appropriate reminder of our obligations.
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
May God bless you, your prayers, and possible contributions.
Sincerely, The EPCS Finance Committee
