Please be aware that students will need an indoor set of shoes, preferably ones that can be used for indoor PE. (They may already have a pairâ€¦) Students will be asked to take off outdoor shoes/boots at the front door, carry them to their lockers, and change into indoor shoes. The â€œgrace periodâ€ is over. J

Newark School Nurse Visit
On Tuesday, December 5th, Lisa Williams, one of the school nurses at Newark Central Schools will be visiting our school in the morning to perform vision tests, hearing tests, and scoliosis tests for those students who did not hand in a physical to our front office for this school year and for the students who did not have these tests marked off on the physical they did turn in.
Lisa can be contacted at Lincoln Elementary in the mornings (315.332.3349) and the Middle School in the afternoons (315.332.3308) if you have any questions about the tests and the physical/immunization requirements.
The next PTA meeting will be held on Friday, December 8th at 10:30 am. If you plan on attending the meeting, it is helpful if you contact Shelley at (email@example.com or 585-752-9773) or through the PTA Remind App, so that she can notify of any changes that might occur.

Little girl prescription glasses were found in the prize bin for the outside games. Please contact the office if you are missing a pair of glasses after attending that event!
EPCS Community goes Camping!
Here are some details about an opportunity for members of our EPCS Community to go camping together next summer. There are EPCS families who have made reservations for the weekend of July 27th â€“ 29th at the Green Lakes State Park near Syracuse. To find out more about this NYS park with a wonderful golf course and swimming, or to just contact the reservation department of this park, use this link: https://parks.ny.gov/parks/172. Cleaning the School
Today, the Edmunds family will be cleaning our school. Tuesday will be the Wiley family. We are closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Next Monday, the Smith family will be cleaning.

The Boyâ€™s Basketball team will be coached by Mr. Malach and Mr. Andrew. Please let a coach or team manager, Michelle Malach, know if you are unable to attend practice. Here is the proposed basketball schedule:
Tuesday, 11/20, 3:30-5pm
Saturday, 11/25, 9:30-11:30 (depending on availability)
Tuesday, 11/28, 3:30-5pm
Practices will continue on the Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday schedule until January (holiday practice schedule still TBD).
Our first game is Tuesday, 1/2/18. Once the season begins, we will only practice on Saturdays and occasionally on a Tuesday/Thursday if we have a bye. Please let us know if you have any questions.
The final step for this year is to deliver Thank You notes to the businesses and neighbors who donated. While youâ€™re at school for P-T conferences, please look through the file box on the front bench and find some that you can deliver with a smile instead of a stamp J.
