Wednesday evening, March 31, 7:15 pm–The EPCS High School Choir, along with several friends, will be presenting a Tenebrae Service. This contemplative service reminds us of Christ’s suffering and death and is a prelude to Good Friday. If you enjoyed the Service of Lessons and Carols which this group presented during Advent, you will appreciate this Tenebrae Service, one in which we remember, in scripture reading, song, poetry, and story. the agony our Saviour endured.
Friday evening, April 9–The EPCS Circle is hosting the annual EPCS Dutch Dinner. This wonderful fundraiser draws diners from all over the Western New York region and is a dinner many look forward to!! Mark your calendars for this great event. If you are an EPCS Community member, and you are able to help with this dinner, please contact the EPCS office at 597-4400! We hope to see you there!
- Thank you to all of you who came to dine with the 7th/8th graders at the annual Valentine-Themed Pasta (Lasagna) Dinner fund-raiser. We had a good time of fellowship, great food, and wonderful service! Thanks students and parents for all your hard work making this dinner such a good time! The students will add the funds to their 7th/8th grade fund and use it for class activities. In the past, this money has been used for classroom needs (laptop computer), for Spruce Lake student fee-reduction, and for contributions to special needs (Haiti donation–$200). Again, thanks to all who participated! We praise our faithful God for our EPCS community! (Pictures are available in our Gallery)
- We had a good time playing along with, and listening to, the Immanuel Christian School Concert and Jazz bands from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada on Friday morning. What a great group they were! Pictures are in our Gallery. Together we were able to praise God for God’s gifts of being able to make beautiful music!
- The EPCS teachers are developing their own web pages! Click on to the TEACHERS link and check out these pages, pictures, and all. Most are still under construction so be patient, but keep checking for new items!!

Introduction to
East Palmyra Christian School
Thank you for considering us as a possibility for your child’s school community for the coming year. We encourage you to discover who we are. As a Christian Pre-kindergarten through high school, our purpose is not just to present a Bible class to our students. Nor is it just to begin and end each day with devotions. Yes, it is those things too. But a Christian school encourages Christian living within its community. It teaches for Shalom. It teaches and models grace. It advocates that all of education is to be carried out inside a Christian framework, acknowledging that all of life is religion, that everything we do and say is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and that we as God’s people are to live responsible, God-glorifying lives. It means that we teach and learn about Mathematics, English, Science, and all the other host of glorious facets of God’s creation in that light, that they are integral parts of God’s creation, that we must use what we teach and learn for God’s glory and the expansion of God’s kingdom and to build each other up. We are to be Christ-like!
East Palmyra Christian School is just that, a Christian school, whose mission is “to offer a Christian educational alternative that integrates faith and learning through a Biblical worldview. We strive to equip our students to develop their gifts, to become discerning disciples, and joyfully serve God in their individual calling in their community and world.”
But it takes more than the Christian school to accomplish all of this. Through God’s grace, the home, the church, and the school must work together in a child’s education. Together we touch the lives of our children.
Thus we encourage parents to become part of their children’s education and we allow for much parent involvement at EPCS: volunteer in the classroom, in field trips, in fund-raisers, in playground monitoring, and in committees. EPCS is a Christian community in which all are invited to participate.
Come. Discover who we are!
